As a Mechanical Engineer at IHC Fundex, your work will involve 2D technical drawing and dimensioning production orders. This includes detailing (pile-driving) machines and their component parts using 3D overview drawings. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will receive your assignments from the Chief Engineer. Your tasks are largely carried out in accordance with the rules and guidelines issued by the Chief Engineer. Your responsibilities will also include:drawing and designing machine partsmaking strength calculations for these partsmaking detailed drawings for production purposes, including parts listsputting together construction files and manualschecking dimensions in practice in the event of problems.RequirementsTo be eligible for this position, you must have the following:the ability to work and think at the level of senior secondary vocational education, plus (MBO+)/higher professional education (HBO - preferably WTB)a flexible, creative and systematic approachsome knowledge of welding techniques and metal-working methodsdemonstrable experience in mechanical engineeringenergetic and driven nature, and excellent communication skillsexcellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both spoken and writtenknowledge of MS Officeknowledge of, and experience with, 2D/3D drawing software (preferably Solid Edge) Please note, that this position is based in Goes.
