Cathay Travel Service - Amsterdam Travel Agency Sales Manager Cathay travel service is Travel Agency Specialist in the Far-east since 1982, welllocated in the Citycentre of Amsterdam. We are are looking for a Sales Manager to lead a team and maximising sales targets.
General Responsibilities: Execute strategic sales plans for the Travel Agency and online booking business. Develop & implement strategic plans for Cathay Travel Service to increase revenue, grow market share and maximize contribution/profits. Proactively create and implement customer focused and value added selling solutions. Manage good contacts with airlines / travel product providers, negotiate about rates. Support the sales team in selling tickets/travel products/ Issue e-tickets.
Mandatory Requirements: HBO degree in Tourisme /Marketing . FAT 1 & 2/SEPR 1 & 2. Five or more years of related travel agency/industry work experience. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Travel Agency and online booking business . Knowledge of wordwide routes especially Asia. Ability to work well in a team. Good communication & motivation skills. Functional knowledge Words, Excel, Backoffice System and Global Distribution Systems “ Amadeus”. Fluent in English/Dutch both written and spoken.
