Sinds de oprichting van GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY in 1986, zijn GIGABYTE’s hardware oplossingen, gebaseerd op de moederborden industrie, thuis, op school en op het werk geïntroduceerd. Eén van GIGABYTE’S grootste drijfveren is innovativiteit, die verankerd zit in de bedrijfscultuur en terug te vinden is bij de ruim 6.000 GIGABYTE medewerkers wereldwijd.

GIGABYTE staat al sinds jaren in de top 3 van moederbordfabrikanten wereldwijd.

Sinds juni 2001 is het Europese hoofdkantoor van GIGABYTE gevestigd in Eindhoven. Vanuit Eindhoven worden de kantoren in Duitsland, Engeland en Frankrijk aangestuurd.

GIGABYTE is met grote regelmaat terugvinden in de magazines en op diverse websites met reviews en product informatie. GIGABYTE heeft al honderden prestigieuze awards ontvangen van organisaties en uitgeverijen wereldwijd. GIGABYTE is het eerste en enige bedrijf dat de “Symbol of Excellence’ award 7 aaneengesloten jaren heeft ontvangen (1998 ~ 2004) en de eerste moederbordenfabrikant die de “National Gold Award of Excellence” 2 aaneengesloten jaren heeft ontvangen (2003 ~ 2004).
