The client serves patients all over the world and is a global leader in the food business.RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for initiating and creating the most optimal supply network plan for the particular product portfolio. The most optimal supply network plan is created with taking the following variables into consideration, service level agreements, inventory levels and strategic importance and revenue for example. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Cooperation with other departments such as Demand Planning, Manufacturing and Warehouse and stakeholders to ensure that the market demands will be met and follow up on business trends
-Planning on short-term (0-3 months) and mid-term (3-18 months) on operational level and the optimization of this plan and the production capabilities within the client’s plant.
-Representative of the Site Planning department in the product meetings, weekly planning and initiate new improvement initiatives
-Review data such as plant performance, maintenance plans and initiate planning to improve the processes.
-Extending and improving the current supply chain processesREQUIREMENTS-Msc degree in logistics or other relevant area.
-Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
-Problem solving skills with a drive for customer excellence and satisfaction.
