Somfy staat voor Comfort, Vrijheid & Veiligheid in huis. Somfy noemt domotica of huisautomatisering Home Motion, ofwel het bedienen van producten in en om huis met behulp van een afstandsbediening of zelfs een smartphone of tablet! De tijd ligt niet eens zo ver achter ons dat we alles met de hand deden: zonneschermen intrekken, rolluiken laten zakken, de garagedeur openen en al wat niet. Domotica neemt deze fysieke handelingen van u over. Binnen Somfy Noord Europa is een Service Center Internet opgezet. Het SC Internet zorgt voor de online marketing en sales van Home Motion producten in Noord Europa. Hiervoor richten we verschillende webshops op in verschilende landen (Nederland, Belgie, Engeland, Denemarken en Zweden). Deze webshops beheren we met een klein en professioneel team in Hoofddorp.

Over Somfy
Somfy is een wereldwijd opererende Franse onderneming en toonaangevend fabrikant van elektrische motoren, bedieningen en sensoren voor buitenzonwering, rolluiken, raamdecoratie, gordijnen, tuinhekken, garagedeuren en verlichting. Het Somfy hoofdkantoor is gevestigd te Cluses in de Franse Alpen. Wereldwijd zijn ongeveer 5500 mensen werkzaam voor de onderneming. Vanuit de dochtervestiging te Hoofddorp werken dagelijks ca. 60 medewerkers aan de marketing, verkoop en technische ondersteuning voor de Nederlandse markt.
