Within this context, your mission in this role is to maintain and update the M&S IT landscape overview, translating business requirements into shared M&S solutions architecture requirements. The M&S Domain is part of the Centre of Expertise for IT Capabilities. As such, the role requires broad knowledge and experience of architecture, IT security, technology platforms and business domains. In particular it demands relevant experience in the functional domain M&S, and its sub-domains such as Manage Customer Service, Manage Sales Orders, Pricing, and Billing, Stores. The focus for this role will be on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the integration to other systems, including ERP systems, Sharepoint and Exchange. If you offer all this and more we invite you to apply for the role of The role and its responsibilities Working from the AkzoNobel office in Arnhem, you perform a number of key tasks as you interact with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in order to optimize the M&S IT landscape. These key tasks entail that you support Demand Management in writing project charters, then translating them into detailed application requirements that fit the M&S strategy. In doing so you ensure that solutions are compatible with the existing (technical) architecture, and compliant with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability. Further, you establish impact assessments and acquire a full understanding of M&S application data models, including Master Data Management (one single source of truth). In addition you maintain the application repository and explain the impact of requested changes and new projects to M&S. You also play an active role in upcoming developments: Mobile technology integration, Social Media, Reporting, Big Data, and archiving. All of this requires you to align with M&S vendors (like Microsoft), ensuring that applications are fit for purpose. Thus you remain neutral toward technology, vendor and product choices, prioritizing results over personal preferences. At all times you support Continuous Improvement efforts and seek to build cross-functional working relationships with stakeholders on all levels.
