As a Legal team member, you will work across BCG teams and functions to support our business growth strategy, provide counsel and expertise, drive legal innovation, and leverage the power of new ways of working.
- As part of BCG's global team of employment lawyers, you will build a centre of employment expertise within, and be the first point of contact for, certain BCG offices in Europe within our Central Europe System and East Mediterranean Caspian System, covering the full range of employment issues including hiring, termination, mobility and immigration, disputes, investigations, regulatory issues, global and local forms and approaches, and advisory support for specific employee issues and counselling;
Support all employees of BCG and the firm's new businesses in Europe, and as needed, assist on other employment matters throughout EMESA (Europe, Middle East, South America, Africa);
Partner with other members of BCG's global employment centre of expertise (CoE) on global projects, with the opportunity to lead such projects for the CoE;
Coordinate closely with the HR function in Europe to ensure a consistent approach to policies and decision-making across the global organization;
Team successfully across BCG and integrate fully into BCG's Global Legal Team to resolve or support resolution of complex HR and employment legal issues (both internally and matters where it could interface with external parties);
Contribute to developing and maintaining Legal Team intellectual property, including template forms, and other materials;
Work with and manage external counsel; and
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
In all cases, BCG's Senior Legal Counsel will be an exceptional lawyer, able to efficiently deliver high quality work, and will have substantial experience of advising on commercial, strategic, and outcome-based solutions to people issues.

Legally qualified within EMEA with deep strategic and operational employment law expertise in an international organization and experience advising across different jurisdictions within EMEA preferred (including common law jurisdictions);
7+ years PQE of practicing labor and employment law (candidates outside of this range will also be considered if they can demonstrate they meet the overall requirements of the role);
Prior experience with a reputable law firm preferable, as well as in house experience within a complex international organization, preferably professional services or similar;
Comfortable presenting to both large and small audiences;
Experienced at managing outside legal advisers and other providers of expert advice on employee matters; and
English and Italian fluency; fluency in any other language is a plus.
