What to expect
- Leading the engineering tribe and driving the multi-cloud roadmap to achieve business objectives.
- Translating business and stakeholder demand into epics and setting the priorities for the 3 development teams.
- Setting priorities for the platform architecture group and reviewing outcomes.
- Strategic and tactical steering of the cloud journey together with the Cloud Business Office (CBO).
- Developing team objectives, building up required skillsets and finding the right talents on the market.
- Leading a team with 30-40 head count. Accountable for ~8 internal employees.
What you bring
- At least 7 years of professional experience and domain knowledge in Cloud and in IT.
- Experience in Cloud and software development models and Agile/Scrum way of working.
- Technical knowledge in Private / Public / Hybrid Cloud Solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) as well as infrastructure solutions for IT. A sound knowledge of the Telco business is a plus.
- A sound knowledge of cloud platforms (experience in containerisation, orchestration and DevOps will be preferred)
- Outcome oriented, highly resilient, reliable, and assertive in a dynamic work environment
- Experience in (organizational) change management and guidance through strategic decisions.
- Experience in building and leading a geo-distributed team of senior professionals and partners.
- Experience in team leader roles will be preferred.
- Ability to coach your people from a content perspective, supporting them in their challenges. Your aim is to develop a Cloud savvy organisation from Cloud experts and potential Cloud experts. Growth of people is your natural interest.
- You develop individual learning paths and coach your people in personal aspects. Providing and receiving feedback happens daily. It’s something in your personal DNA.
- Completed university studies or comparable in the field of computer science or comparable education.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English. German is plus, but not a must
