E2E Supply Network Expert (m/f/d)
Manage the end to end supply network Hormonal Solids & IUS for the complete course (from short- to long-term) across end to end supply network to ensure high product availability for patients during the phase of market introduction and commercialization. Ensure worldwide reliable replenishment of sales products considering various network/product dependent supply strategies and manage a supply chain with ~30 million EUR of inventories.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Bottleneck Management Team Lead to fill in the stocks back to norm level in the pipeline and return to normal operations; ensure appropriate communication to stakeholders and team members; support Issue Management and bring all relevant functions together which are required to resolve the bottleneck situation
- Focus on supply readiness with regards to shortages; define and implement sustainable measures to mitigate future bottlenecks, build up of bridging stocks etc.
- Ensure appropriate execution of IBP Process including consistency of planning input and process
- Ensure exchange about performance aspects (site specific and GSM specific KPIs) and site/CMO specific activities with global GSM Teams (HQ and Hub)
- Collect and discuss forecasting trends and marketing activities within sites/CMOs and operational network teams as well as life cycle/launch updates, tenders, regulatory, capacity and quality requirements (e.g. build of bridging stocks) with sites and CMOs
- Oversee and track the performance of sites/CMOs in the network; ensure a healthy site utilization across the whole network and identify assumptions for the creation of mid- and long-term supply simulations and oversee/track replenishment for API and critical core material and identify major supply risks; monitor implementation of treatment/mitigation decision for major risks and contribute risk management aspects to overall product strategy; collect life cycle launch updates, SBU updates (e.g. sales updates, opportunities, tenders)
- Ensure availability of Value Stream Maps and regular Brand Sanity Checks, share results of the regular Brand Sanity Checks with all stakeholders and collect input from PS Brand review (supply outlook, risk exposure update, flexibility situation); prepare logistical/financial comparison of the collected numbers; consolidate life cycle launch updates, SBU updates (e.g. sales updates, opportunity, tender) and communicate to upper management
- Establish a solid communication into Marketing Brand Teams and Therapeutic Areas; align long mid- and long-term supply assumptions and results across PS and with the Business Unit
WHO YOU ARE
Diploma, BS/BA in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of operational experience in SCM, Procurement, Quality, R&D, Operations, commercial organization as both individual contributor and manager in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech or similar industry and solid understanding of SAP (P2R, APO and BW), oversight on SCM processes, best practices, tactical and strategical trends
- Good conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to motivate managers and cross organizational teams to collaborate; understand various disciplines and issues impacting manufacturing and supply chain operations around the world (e.g. regulatory and environmental issues, quality control)
- Understanding of legal, regulatory and GMP environment in marketing and manufacturing; appropriate theoretical and practical background and process understanding in production planning, logistics, foreign trade, logistical planning, optimization, and performance measurement
- Organization skills to plan, support, or lead projects; strong team and task orientation; good knowledge in Microsoft tools including MS Project
- Good relationship management capabilities and experience in dealing with 3rd party manufacturers or other external parties; leadership and interpersonal relations skills that promote collaboration and transparency across the organization with a high degree of customer focus
- Fluent in English; verbally and in writing
