Vorraussetzungen
    • Degree in electrical or electronic engineering, physics or a comparable qualification
    • Good RF knowledge and solid test SW coding skills especially using MATLAB
    • Basic system engineering know how (receiver and transmitter line up system analysis)
    • Good knowledge of RF integrated Circuit (RFIC) design, RF Automated Test Environment (RF ATE IC) as well as with RF lab equipment use (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes noise figure meters etc.)
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Good ability to work in teams with a strong focus on quality and result delivery
    • Fluent English skills written and spoken
    • Good presentation skills

As a test engineer radio frequency (RF) you will be part of the MMIC team of the product technology radar group and you will be part of the global Continental ADAS engineering family. The position requires a very good understanding and knowhow of RF and in particular mmWave frequency principles as it is mainly focused on the test and validation of MMICs or RoCs for automotive radar sensor development in a lab environment.
The position can be staffed in Riemerling or Lindau.

Your main tasks will be:
  • Responsibility for the full validation of mmWave integrated circuits (MMICs) or radar on chip (RoCs) devices, using RF measurement equipment against component requirements and specifications
  • Presentation of validation results to internal and external stakeholders and analysis of potential failures in respect to MMIC/ RoC specifications and functionality
  • Responsibility for the requirements management on component level
  • Owner of the test and validation strategy and process for MMICs / RoCs
  • Support provider to radar sensor development and problem solving on RF topics
