Vendor Manager

As a Vendor Manager - Recommerce Content Operations you are responsible for delivering inspiring content and flawless product metadata while maintaining a stable high output in the external Content Creations. Establishing trustful relationships with our external service providers and our internal stakeholders is key for this role. This includes traveling to the vendor locations at least once a quarter.

As part of the Operations Team in Recommerce, you will be working in close collaboration with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure a stable flow of pre-owned goods and also with product teams and business developers to improve content management tools and article onboarding processes. You will be reporting to the Lead Content Creation Recommerce.

  • Efficiently steer photo production and metadata enrichment in nearshore locations and react fast to changing business needs
  • Plan external workforce capacity, align on forecasts, coordinate daily production and monitor SLAs e.g. content compliance & vendor performance
  • Become an expert in complex content onboarding processes across multiple platforms and be the point of contact for internal stakeholders
  • Identify issues with core processes and strive for sustainable improvements in collaboration with product and tech teams
  • Handle large data sets (e.g. performance reports) and actively moderate training sessions, calibration calls, business reviews.
  • You have gained 3+ years of valued experience in a fast-paced environment and a similar role (vendor management / key account), ideally in E-commerce
  • You are confident in working with external service providers, and you are smart in balancing out cooperation and control levers
  • You work in a structured and independent manner, and do not lose sight of your targets when facing complex problems
  • You have the ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture while still understanding minor details
  • You communicate effortlessly in English and German - Polish is a plus
