Business Owner for Digital Business (m/f/div)

Aufgaben

RefineMySite is an international SaaS business with focus on Europe and US. It offers a digital construction site platform to boost onsite productivity addressing three global mega trends: lean, IoT and BIM. Most construction sites end with time overrun, higher total costs and bad quality. RefineMySite meets the needs of many customers who deal with constantly changing plans that lack implementation on site. RefineMySite has 9 employees in Germany and the US and is constantly growing.

  • Lead teams and owns the end-to-end success of our new digital offering in the construction industry
  • Set the overall direction of our new business and drive continuous improvement
  • Bring together a cross-disciplinary team of product managers, tech engineers, user-centric designers and sales and digital marketing specialists to further scale an innovative software product
  • Set the vision for the new business of our digital construction site offerings and define the overall strategy to scale the business, including long-term goals to achieve consistent results and exponential growth
  • Attract, retain & develop digital talent, including full responsibility for recruitment decisions of and cultivating a high-performing/ agile one-team culture
  • Drive day-to-day operations and align resources to achieve key business priorities
  • Proactively mitigate business, operational & governance risks
  • Regularly report updates regarding progress on strategic priorities, and collaborate with relevant (executive) stakeholders within Bosch Power Tools and Robert Bosch group
  • Serve as external spokesperson for the business
Profil

Domain expertise

  • P&L responsibility for a (digital) business (unit) – particular platform business
  • Consistent track record of building successful products and high performance teams, ideally in current roles
  • Ability to guide a company through different phases of growth

Individual skills

  • Leadership – ability to build, coach and mentor a high performing team that can deliver an exceptional SaaS solution to tight timescales and then continually improve and maintain the solution in line with overall business strategy
  • Ideally experience in B2B industries, preferred (but not must) construction industry
  • Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress
  • Fosters a relationship with the team and acts as a champion of culture and values
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders – strong leadership skills
