Head of Commissioning & Qualification Berlin (m/f/d)

At Engineering & Technology (E&T) you, as Head of C&Q Berlin, have decisive influence on how we within the BAYER GROUP prepare, implement and continuously optimize the delivery of Bayer’s global, strategic capital investment projects in the field of life sciences and pharmaceuticals.

At E&T, capital investment projects are carried out as a shared responsibility together with Bayer’s CropScience, Pharmaceuticals and ConsumerCare divisions and in close collaboration with our external partners.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We, and your team, look forward to welcoming you to our dedicated and highly motivated Project Management department at E&T. You will…

  • Lead and coach a Team of 4-5 C&Q Lead Engineers for the Bayer Group’s pharmaceutical investment project(s) in Berlin
  • Encourage and engage in recruiting and developing C&Q talents for the Bayer Group’s C&Q community
  • Inspire a joint purpose and role model trustful, cross-functional collaboration, connecting internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient and effective C&Q delivery as part of the respective project portfolio
  • Build and grow the Bayer Group´s external network with C&Q engineering partners
  • Foster internal and external knowledge-sharing for C&Q, also by assuming the role as C&Q Lead or C&Q Subject Matter Expert to ensure successful investment project delivery
  • Strive for continuous improvements of C&Q related processes to increase the efficiency in our projects

You have…

  • Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or related field, related work experience is considered
  • Long-standing, professional experience and related C&Q expertise in the GMP environment
  • Knowledge of related industry and authority guidelines (e.g. ICH Q9, ISPE) as well as pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies, equipment, and facilities respective
  • Excellent interpersonal leadership skills, a passion for people development and the willingness to challenge the status quo towards innovative and digital C&Q processes
  • Intercultural experience and competence preferred
  • Fluent English and German skills both written and spoken
