Anti-Fraud Expert (m/f/d)

At AGCS we specialize in offering commercial property insurance for the most complex and challenging exposures. With a focus on larger global risk portfolios and major national risks, we offer tailor made ‘All Risks’ property damage and business interruption insurance through our global network.

Based in London, working within the Global Claims team, you will lead standard Fraud investigations across international AGCS offices and in multiple Lines of Business in order to generate Fraud savings.

In this role you will….

  • Support the Claims handling teams to find suspicion cases
  • Review standard files of suspicious cases which are referred to you by Claims Handlers and Special Investigation Designee (SID)
  • Prepare complex Fraud files and raise them to Head of Fraud or to Senior Fraud Expert
  • Support SIDs / Claims Handlers with file review (coverage check, cause of loss, Fraud indicators) so that they can focus on claims handling
  • Prepare to assess and analyze the legal aspects of fraudulent activities (litigation)
  • Assist with the assignment of external vendors where necessary (vendors which are part of our investigation tool kit)
  • Convert standard files through internal investigation into Fraud savings
  • Assist to implement the new Global Set up in BAU (overall processes, Fraud indicators, guidelines, referral process from Special Investigation Designees=SID)
  • You have a relevant university degree (preferred law) or insurance qualification

  • You have professional experience in insurance or law (min 2 years)
  • You have a good understanding of claims handling processes from notification to settlement
  • A first experience in Fraud detection and investigation is preferred
  • You are interested to identify risk/fraudulent claims that can be successfully investigated leading to financial savings
  • You have the ability to effectively absorb legal information from various sources, then analyze, study or examine data in detail and draw appropriate conclusions

  • You have a robust understanding of Insurance IT landscape and its functionalities
  • You have excellent English communications skills (verbal and written). Proficient knowledge of French and/or another language preferred (ability to read legal documents and to discuss Fraud cases with local AGCS teams)
