Legal/Compliance (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d) in Allianz Consulting

Allianz Operations Consulting is looking for a legal / compliance professional to join a well-diversified team. Our consulting services focus on our clients' needs, especially in the areas of Data Protection, Compliance, Legal and Regulatory Affairs. We bring deep, industrial and functional expertise to fulfill our clients’ requirements and support the overall vision of the Allianz Group.

  • Provide consulting support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management
  • Dealing with Allianz’ legal, compliance and regulatory projects to meet the related requirements, also in international projects
  • Drafting, analysis and review of contracts and other legal documents
  • Identification and analysis of relevant legal issues/ queries and evaluation of appropriate solutions
  • Presentation of legal recommendations to our clients (Allianz entities) in a structured, clear, and comprehensive form, both in written and spoken
  • Handling of Data Privacy topics
  • Complete all project related assignments including all project deadlines and deliverables, client, and stakeholder management
  • Contribute to pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • University degree with legal background or other University degree with a focus on legal / regulatory expertise or equivalent experience
  • Relevant working experience in the Asia Pacific or African market
  • Insurance business / investment management and/ or consultancy experience for more than 1 year
  • Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
  • High attendance to learn and develop
  • Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
  • Communication, facilitation, sales, and conflict management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, conceptual and implementation experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

    Desired requirements /skills /experience
  • Experience in one / several of the following areas
    - ESG regulations or
    - Legal Tech / Regulatory Tech or
    - Financial Crime (e.g. AML) or
    - Data privacy (e.g. at IAPP) or
    - Investment market / knowledge
  • Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development
  • International work experience (min. 6 months)
