Process & Analytics Lead (SCM) (m/f/d)

Process & Analytics Lead (SCM) (m/f/d)


  • Lead a Process and Analytics team responsible to ensure that standards in reporting, usage of tools/systems and processes are adhered as well as to improve data quality by regular corrective actions
  • Support Global Process Owners (GPO) by ensures sustainable best practices for the implementation of Supply Chain processes, evaluate methods and tools for Supply Chain Management, divisional and local SC Managers in supply centers, GSM Headquarter and the GSM Hubs on a global level
  • Plan and allocate resources towards corresponding GPO areas including support of communities/key user groups, projects and regular GSM scope of work, be responsible for oversight of quality of work and supporting as escalation level and also be accountable to develop, improve and enforce best practices aligned with interface functions including GPOs, SC Development and IT
  • Ensure implementation of process and IT standards and ensure continuous improvements by lessons learned and harmonizing processes across portfolios
  • Drive and manage IT projects together with Bayer IT department to ensure supply readiness and compliance including interfaces to 3rd parties like contract manufacturer or external material suppliers
  • Ensure business model compliance on behalf of SCM, acts as SCM representative in assigned business model council and align budget, target setting with SCM development and ensure transparency as well as appropriate actions in case of deviations
  • Assure the usage of state-of-the-art IT systems as well as ensure the new approaches and technologies are incorporated and support network teams to improve Supply Chain performance by applying advanced analytics, identify levers for improvements and support projects and initiatives
  • Provide effective leadership including e.g. development and implementing objectives, selecting key personnel and motivating members of the functional area and challenging employees to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor


  • University degree in supply chain management, computer science, industrial engineering, economics or an equivalent qualification (e.g. natural/applied science or mathematics)
  • Long-term professional experience in progressively responsible planning and supply chain positions with an emphasis on supply chain planning/execution and/or information systems
  • Several years of managerial experiences to integrate multinational and multidisciplinary teams (e.g. in international projects)
  • Technological expertise in areas such as Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Automation, Robotics, Internet of Things, Blockchain with implementation experience to advance the Digital Supply Chain
  • Experience in application, technologies towards supply chains of new modalities like Cell & Gene Therapies, Radiopharmaceuticals beneficial
  • Applied Real-Time end to end supply chain management expertise, APICS Certification preferred
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal relations skills that promote collaboration and transparency across the organization with a high service focus
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English
