Project Manager - Global Archival Solution (m/f/d)

The newly established “Transitional Applications & Decommissioning” (TAD) unit within AZ Technology refocuses the organization on transformation by ensuring a holistic approach on operations and decommissioning for all transitional applications. Within TAD, a dedicated Decommissioning Management unit is set up. Their responsibility includes the management of decommissioning projects and the channeling of business demand. The target picture is to achieve an industrialization of decommissioning by the development of processes, tools & decommissioning methods.

One key offering is thereby the Data Archival Service to accelerate decommissioning plans by providing services for a group approved standardized archival solution. This is a market leading SaaS solution which will cater to global AZ OEs needs in the area of legacy data archiving. We are looking or an IT Project Manager in the 'Archival Factory' who can independently work on delivering and running projects in this area.

  • Manage projects with different levels of complexity on the basis of existing methods, processes and tools
  • Manage and coordinate stakeholders and build a project communication structure
  • Advise customers / stakeholders and actively clarify their expectations and requirements
  • Create and maintain project definition, project charter, project plan and offer, support the creation of the statement of work
  • Plan, monitor, control and report project progress to project management governance and escalate issues if necessary
  • Ensure on time, on budget and high quality project deliverables and high customer / stakeholder satisfaction
  • Obtain necessary project approvals, customer project and order agreements and actively manage project financials
  • Relevant work experience in Project and Program Management, in an International environment (ideally experienced in leading and guiding project implementation teams)
  • Possessing project management skills and engaging in customer relationship management
  • Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation skills
  • Profound communication skills and the ability to negotiate with a diverse audience, e.g. on senior level
  • Application Lifecycle Management Experience, Hands on experience in IT Architecture, Implementation and Support highly desirable
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations
  • Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience
