To act as the finance and commercial business partner to the LD Manager and to support the Hub/Country Finance & Commercial Director with the Finance Business Partnering towards the Hub Manager. To co-drive the success of the Turbo organization by contributing to effective decision making based on profound finance insights and distinct business acumen. Oversight of all finance and commercial matters to optimize business performance and financial position. To support the Hub Finance & Commercial Director with fiduciary responsibilities for the countries/branches assigned to this role. To represent the company externally and ensure compliance with all legal requirements and internal policies.

Your responsibilities
  • Serves as a finance business partner for the relevant business leader (LD Manager) and Hub Finance & Commercial Manager. Maintains constant contact with relevant other managers regarding financials, market and customer situation, operations and commercial outlook
  • Coordinates the business planning and estimating process for the area of responsibility. Evaluates financial implications of various strategic, tactic and operational decisions, builds scenarios, and initiates corrective actions incl. required follow ups
  • Provides insights and analysis to support operational, tactical and strategic decision-making. Leverage the power of financial and nonfinancial data to understand value drivers in the branch and Hub. Identifies issues and advises local management on actions to resolve them. Executes appropriate cost structure and productivity optimizations to support value creation, analyzes customer and product/agreement profitability, monitors the cash flow and recommends actions to improve Net Working Capital
  • Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. Executes risk/contract reviews in line with global policies and standards to minimize commercial and financial risks and exposure, closely monitors and follows up on overdues to minimize default risk
  • Stewardship of company's assets (e.g. Real Estate, local representative towards insurances). Ensures high quality of financial data and business information in line with Group-wide standards as well as financial closing schedules, and acts as local ERP power user
  • Ensures preparation and filing of correct tax returns such as income tax, VAT and WHT by means of an external trustee and in close cooperation with Hub Finance & Commercial Director. Monitors changes in local tax legislation and assesses their implications together with local and global experts
  • Maintains a local governance in line with corporate standards, regulations, policies, and legal requirements. Executes internal controls regarding financial and defined non-financial operations, coordinates external audits and actively supports internal audits
  • Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant Group/Hub/Country stakeholders (e.g. Hub/LD Manager, HEUS, GPG Controller, COE) to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility. Represents Turbo vs external stakeholders such as authorities, banks, insurance brokers and auditors where required, communicates the findings and recommendations of local auditors to the appropriate organizational bodies and initiates required actions for remediation
Your background
  • University degree in Finance/Controlling/Accounting or Chartered Accountant (e.g. ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, ICAS, CPA, CIMA) or longstanding practical work experience with demonstrated achievements
  • Strong financial background, structured and result oriented with sound analytical skills
  • Experience in SAP (FI/CO a must, SD and PS are a plus) and excellent MS Office/Teams skills
  • Strong team player with good problem-solving skills, approaching problems with open mind and persistence to deliver on time
  • Able to handle different topics simultaneously, ideally used to matrix organization structure
  • Experience: 2-4 years in controlling/accounting function in an international environment (industrial background is an asset)
  • Fluency in English is a must, further local HUB languages considered a plus
