Capital Projects Coordinator

In this position, you will provide general administrative help to the NEMA Motors – Motion. You will act as a point of contact for enquiries, providing solutions for those within your scope, and escalating those that require it. Reporting to the Director - Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will serve as the primary coordinator of all support services in the capital projects process.

Your responsibilities
  • CAPEX Budget Maintenance- Open or Close projects, Fund projects, Supplement or Return funds in projects, create or delete AUC’s. (Asset Under Custody)
  • CAPEX Spend Report emailed to plant AME Groups on a monthly basis
  • ZCAPM - Maintenance workflow, review projects, confirm ROI, analyze if projects are following company policies and standards
  • ZMASB - Open or Close projects Maintain projects within established budget
  • Research and Analyze projects, payment and any needed amendments, Review requisitions, create capital PO’s
  • Compliant Pro - New supplier request submission for each MFG plant
  • FINFLOW - Various forms used to update vendor information, expedite payments request, correct PO’s blocked for payment, correct postings, etc.
  • GA Inquiries - Request for Journal entries to be done or to re-open assets and Assist all MFG plant Engineers with individual projects to streamline project process flow in a timely manner
Your background
  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum 5 years of administrative/clerical experience OR
  • Associates degree and minimum 3 years of administrative/clerical experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 1 year of administrative/clerical experience
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal capabilities, Exceptional analytical, communication and organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience performing successfully in a diverse and challenging administrative role
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
