Part-Time Senior Product Manager (m/f/d)


Amazon is looking for a pro-active, results oriented Senior Product Manager (m/f/d) in part time to join the exciting Entertainment Media team in Munich. You will own, oversee and/or execute strategic, cross-locale projects, strategy updates and internal tool implementations. You will drive functional team tasks and decision making with your detailed data insights, while maintaining a strong customer focus.
A Day in the life:
The ideal candidate will be strongly analytical with a proven track record of driving cross-functional projects, process improvements and successfully launching new product features. This position will be responsible for leading retail focused experimentation in different environments, piloting and executing work streams to improve customer experience and supporting the Entertainment Media team with an analytical skillset to create reports, setup new processes or execute ad-hoc analysis.
About the team:
The Entertainment Media Customer Engagement team is working to constantly improve the customer experience for the DVD, Music and Video Games category on Our work is built upon three pillars: automation, feature development and analytics. We deep dive on internal inefficiencies to streamline processes that free up time to focus better on the customer. We are driving the implementation of new features, to either spur the digital transition or provide them with a better shopping experience. Lastly, we conduct various analysis and create dashboards on customer behavior to advocate all relevant stakeholder.
Key responsibilities:
· Define and drive projects with an EU-scope
· Re-define processes and launch new product features to improve customer experience
· Lead retail focused experimentation in different environments
· Pilot and execute workstreams to improve customer experience
· Create reports, setup new processes and execute ad-hoc analysis
· Communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers


· University degree in a relevant field
· Several years of product management experience
· A fluency in standard software including Excel and SQL
· Robust analytical skills
· Fluent English skills, both oral and written


· Experience in working on cross-functional and cross-country projects
· Ability to lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal
· Strong communication skills, including ability to write compelling documents and present your ideas with passion and persuasion
· Great attention to detail
· Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment
· Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
