As Specialist Accounting for HR and Inventory in Germany you handle and perform the GL operations task in the area of HR accounting and inventory valuation on a daily basis including month end close (MEC) activities, to ensure realization of service objectives within set guidelines/policies. You manage your processes and tasks to provide internal customers with financial data/reports, manage accounting processes, post to the general ledger, maintain master data and reconcile/maintain accounts.
You are responsible for payroll and HR benefits related postings for the assigned German subsidiaries as well as for the inventory valuation during month and year end. In this area you prepare reports as required by the local finance and Group Accounting and perform financial analysis and (pre-)audit tasks. You take over ERP key user tasks in your field of responsibility and are defining the accounting related settings in the HR payroll interface.
In addition, you leverage your expertise to constantly seek out better ways of performing processes, to contribute to process excellence initiatives and to support operational performance reporting activities.
