Senior Consultant (m/f/x) Portfolio & Business Development

IT Services is the internal and international IT service provider for Deutsche Post DHL Group with locations in Germany, Czech Republic, Malaysia, India and the USA. Together we are delivering IT services to all divisions of the company.

Your tasks:
  • To work with account- and portfolio management to develop business strategies and increase adoption of services
  • To develop marketing and promotion material to support the account management organization of IT Services
  • To manage portfolio, pricing and overall improvement initiatives incl. support of budget and planning activities
  • To streamline and manage internal endorsement processes for divisional proposals
  • To manage strategic opportunities for ITS
  • To work with IT Services communications team to ensure information sharing across the group
  • Drive marketing and promotion of the portfolio of new and existing build and run services offered by IT Services to the business units of DPDHL worldwide
  • Create promotion material tailored to customer/opportunity specific requirements
  • Drive strategic improvement initiatives, e.g. digitalization of ITS engagement channels
  • Maintain and provide generic and up-to-date promotion material on request of business
  • Interact with selected business contacts to conduct specific surveys and request direct customer feedback in alignment with account management teams
  • Work with portfolio managers and services catalogue manager to derive the marketing strategy and material from the global portfolio management strategy
  • Interact and closely align with Global ITS communications team to synchronize the marketing and promotion strategies between BPM and ITS Global
  • Monitor marketing of ITS competition in public communication channels (internet, selected IT-publications) and as feedback from business units
Your profile:
  • Degree in IT or business related subject, MBA or relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience in managing a marketing function to promote IT products and services in a global environment
  • Strong knowledge in creating state-of-the art marketing material and addressing the customer through different promotion channels
  • Very good knowledge of IT subjects, terminology and services
  • Proven knowledge of business-to-business sales of complex products and solutions focusing on customer value and addressing business needs
  • Experienced in market research, market- and competitor analysis
  • Familiar with sales account development & account management
  • Familiar with portfolio management
  • Strong written English and communications skills
