The Functional Business Analyst provides expertise in defining system functionalities, driving solutions that meet HR needs. Ensures to take advantage of the capabilities of possible HR platforms. This role will partner closely with Global Business Process Owners, Process Leads and Regional Leads to identify the business requirements needed to meet the needs of the business and to configure applications. This role is also supporting in testing the system and assures the quality of deliverable matches the requirements. It enables changes in the organization by providing functional training to end users.
Your tasks:
  • Collects and defines business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business
  • Develops user stories and test scenarios
  • Liaises with Domain managers, clients, and other stakeholders as appropriate as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification to ensure consistent implementation of relevant IT processes and systems
  • Reviews feasibility studies and estimates
  • Supports the design and conceptualization of new business solution options
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance of project deliverables
  • Supports the business on prioritizing change requests
  • Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manages product enhancement requests with Cloud Vendor and partner with Cloud Vendor product leads on functional roadmaps
  • Work with various HR and functional groups to analyze business needs to provide appropriate, innovative, and cost-effective solutions
  • Analyzes technology issues and propose short, mid and long-term solutions
  • Works with other senior technology leaders to propose technical solutions and help craft architecture and technology roadmap
  • Evaluates new technologies on a consistent basis to see if implementation will improve existing data communications network, overall program strategy considering costs, security, speed and usability
Your profile:
  • Able to establish new technical direction; establish clear technical vision and a roadmap to implement that vision
  • Excellent technical problem solving and technical writing skills
  • Strong strategic thought leadership skills
  • Techno Functional Hands-on Experience in Enterprise-wide solutions (Peoplesoft, SAP, etc.) and Cloud-based solutions (Workday, SF, etc.)
  • Credible with senior leaders
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, able to deal with conflicts
  • Familiar with PM methodology e.g. PMP, Agile/scrum etc.
  • Problem-solving and root-cause identification
  • Strong collaborator
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile initiatives concurrently
  • Understands data and data architecture
