Head of Sustainability Portfolio Management (*)

Ihre AufgabenIhre AufgabenYour tasks:
  • Analyze, anticipate and consult on Sustainability trends and implications and bring in ide-as, impulses and solutions relevant to DB Schenker and our customers
  • Lead cross-functional expert teams from our Business Units and Functions to develop and implement innovative Sustainability programs, products and processes based on comprehensive, quantitative and actionable plans
  • Ensure organizational alignment, focus and execution of DB Schenker sustainability strategy
    • Manage Sustainability from a program portfolio standpoint by providing transparency and ensuring alignment across the three key focus areas: Clean Logistics, Thriving Communities and Shared Value
    • Execute existing and future Sustainability programs and effectively communicate to key decision makers and cross-functional expert teams
    • Ensure organizational alignment and focus on agreed priorities by leading important stakeholders and expert teams within the global DB Schenker organization
    • Define, further refine and implement tangible and aligned KPI's and ensure consistent reporting across the entire organization
    • Develop and implement relevant SOP's, processes and tools and assure quality, completeness and accuracy of data
  • Raise awareness, knowledge & engagement and establish a culture and brand of sus-tainability leadership across the network
    • Establish the narrative for DB Schenker's sustainability strategy and activities internally and externally
    • Develop a comprehensive strategy for internal and external communication and drive execution
    • Develop and execute measures to position DB Schenker as a leading brand in sus-tainability
    • Drive internal awareness and build knowledge by further developing and engaging in-ternal communities and platforms for exchange
    • Proactively develop external relationships and networks with relevancy to DB Schen-ker's Sustainability strategy
    • Acting as a resource across an organization to increase cohesion and sharing of best practices in the area of sustainability
AnforderungenAnforderungenYour requirements:
  • University degree or comparable
  • Several years proven professional experience in strategy development, program and project management and Sustainability
  • Proven experience in product development
  • Strong understanding of business processes in Logistics
  • Successful track record managing programs from idea to execution, ideally in an international, fast-paced, changing environment
  • Track record in designing and delivering workshops and trainings
  • Ability to lead with influence and capability to create and manage (functional) networks across all hierarchies within DB Schenker
  • Proven experience in communicating results and recommendations to leadership teams
