?—?Implement and monitor Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and provide training to the sites and operations on Trade Compliance (TC), e.g. on international customs regulations, shipping requirements and trade laws.

?—?Global Point of Contact for Trade Compliance and work with customer’s TC team to reflect customer’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements into workable and easily understandable work instructions

?—?Strong experience in international trade compliance and supply chain working with different regions (AMER, EMEA and APAC)

?—?Thorough working knowledge and experience with regional control and sanction laws and regulations as well as import/export regulations and audit practices

?—?Work closely with quality team to identify root causes and corrective actions for international shipment errors

?—?Drive continuous improvement for trade compliance to achieve the goal of having ZERO DEFECT in Outbound & Inbound Quality

?—?Improve effectiveness of warehouse systems and processes with a focus on standardization for international operations

?—?Ensure SWI adherence with regards to trade compliance related topics

?—?Provide on-site and remote trade compliance trainings to ensure the operations are aware of and can execute the existing trade compliance guidelines for their business

?—?Prepare and present regular global trade compliance reports in close relation with quality and inventory teams to monitor SLA/KPI targets and address corrective actions to improve the operational metrics

?—?Manage trade compliance audits for all sites. Institute and manage global record keeping and reporting methods.

?—?Stay current on import and export regulations, policies and other applicable governmental initiatives.

?—?Monitor import/export regulatory information and publications, apply necessary changes to company practices and share this information throughout our team.

?—?Implement a platform to share relevant updates on trade compliance contacts, dashboards, trainings, import compliance, EAR compliance

?—?Global compliance to legal, customer and Schenker trade policies and guidelines

?—?Successful internal audits

?—?Trade compliance reporting

?—?Continuous improvement in the specific area of responsibility

?—?Experience: Warehouse Operations 5+ years

?—?Experience in Trade Compliance (import/export) regulations from an operational perspective

?—?Project Management experience

?—?Excellent communication skills

?—?Customer focus

?—?Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

?—?Quality Management

?—?Training skills

?—?Proficiency with Google Workplace/ G suite

?—?Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), and Global Trade Compliance systems (GTM)

?—?English at proficient level
