Senior Manager Customer Management Program (m/f/d)

Ihre AufgabenIhre AufgabenThe Business Development (BD) department for CL/SCM at the regional level is primarily responsible for developing new business with new and existing customers. It cooperates with the Clusters in a leading or supporting role in the business development process, supporting our targets for achieving at least 8% year-on-year profitable growth. We will succeed as a team!The jobOne of the ambitions is the retention and growth of our existing customer base. Within Schenker this is called customer management. In the preceding period the methodology for Customer Management has been reviewed and refreshed. It has been approved by the respective Cluster MDs. Next step is the deployment of a program to ensure the allocation of the customer management responsibility within each cluster, clarification of the expectations/objectives, training on program and tools, review of progress.It is your job to get a full understanding of the Customer Management methodology. Next you will design a program to deploy this methodology throughout the region, involving the nominated persons from each cluster. You will ensure that all (selected) customers have a person assigned who is responsible for customer management for that customer. You will be responsible for scheduling and executing the training of these persons on process and tools. Through interaction and team cooperation you will create an active and learning community of people with the customer management responsibility.You will be the go-to person for questions and remarks of participants.Once a year you will do an audit on individual progress of participants in using the methodology. With the Cluster MD you will review results of the Customer Management Plan. In this position you will be a member of the European Region Business Development Department, reporting to the VP Business Development Europe for CL/SCM.As a team we follow the agreed BD process to safeguard our professional standards.Methodology development & program specification:*Finalize and tailor the methodology to different clusters set-ups (responsibility with dedicated person, site manager, site team member)*Document methodology, building on the work to date.*Create training materials for methodology.*Specify roll-out plan*Agree participantsProgram deployment*Organize meetings, webinars, Teams meeting to get all nominated persons informed about the methodology.*Ensure that Customer Management Plans are drafted and discussed in the clusters.*Implement structured follow up.Evaluation*Annual evaluation of individual progress.*Annual review of benefits delivered (additional business, customer retention, relationship development)*Evaluate program and implement improvement where required*Reporting on program and resultsSuccess criteria in this role*Adoption of the program (#participants included in program, …)*Customer retention (renewal rate according to KEEP measurements)*Additional business generated (annual target)AnforderungenAnforderungen*At least 8+ years' experience in the CL/SCM industry.*University or secondary level education.*Consulting & presentation skills.*Proven track record of sales effectiveness (for credibility).*Extensive experience with customer interaction and business development.*Organizational sensitivity and ability to work effectively in matrix organization.*Supporting attitude, no top-down head office behaviour.*Creative, curious and resourceful.*Unquestionable business integrity.*Strong English language (written and verbal).*Proficient in relevant computer skills (word, PowerPoint, CRM, excel)*Ability to travel frequently throughout Europe.Unser AngebotUnser Angebot
