Your tasks:
  • Continuously analyzing and monitoring airfreight customer portfolio in regards to revenue, volume and margin contribution on specific lanes and within specific customer segments
  • Identifying opportunity segments and determining customer acquisition and revenue management tactics in line with the airfreight market strategy
  • Defining account specific pricing strategy and margin guidelines
  • Identifying key drivers for customer churns based on reasons related to price, yield and product portfolio and determining appropriate reactivation methods
  • Coordinating and setting measures for recovering or increasing revenue based on contractual agreements
  • Identifying new product opportunities and value-added services based on market requirements
  • Describing processes and procedures for contract management and provide guidelines for reviewing unprofitable, high impact customers
  • Setting targets for and measuring performance of all pricing teams worldwide and get involved in regards to large enterprise account tenders
  • Developing and establishing a comprehensive commercial risk assessment logic for processing tenders
  • Driving cost efficient structures and capacities in entities belonging to revenue management (e.g. pricing) and contributing to the planning and implementation of related offshore solutions where feasible
  • Building strong interface to Sales and Marketing organization
  • Taking HR decisions related to regional Revenue Managers with matrix reporting line in close cooperation with the regional Air Freight and HR
Your requirements:
  • University degree or comparable
  • Several years proven experience within a similar position
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented attitude
  • Good communication and moderation skills in various international stakeholder levels
  • The ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and stakeholder
  • Strong leadership skills, intercultural competence, global mindset, strong communication skills, solution orientation, willingness to learn and flexibility
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Professional communication skills
  • High motivation
