Specialist Internal Control (m/f/diverse)

Continental is going to spin-off its Powertrain business and thus established Vitesco Technologies. For the new accounting department of Vitesco Technologies we are looking for experts (m/f/diverse) in the area of Internal Control System (ICS), in particular internal control over financial reporting.

Your tasks in detail:
  • You are part of a ICS team and support the implementation and further development of the ICS approach in our Finance Service Centers / legal entities
  • You are the first contact for our Finance Service Centers / legal entities and corporate company with regard to the all kind of questions related to the ICS approach
  • You provide training and guidance to our operating business, Accountants and Process Owners in our Finance Service Centers / legal entities in order to ensure a harmonized and standardized approach in accordance with corporate guidelines and procedures
  • You support the annual and ongoing risk assessments and control testing (design and operating effectiveness) of our entities
  • You track the control testing progress and ensure a successful and timely control test execution
  • You support and track the remediation of ICS weaknesses detected by the local entities, internal auditing and / or the external auditors
  • You conduct quality reviews and ICS health checks
  • You design and prepare reports and presentations for our management board and corporate regarding the implementation/testing progress and the annual ICS results
  • You develop and implement specific ICS-related projects (e.g. standardization, harmonization or automation) to remediate ICS issues
  • You develop strong relationships with key business/functional stakeholders in order to increase awareness of ICS and strength the ICS culture throughout the group

Fähigkeiten

  • Degree required, preferably in accounting/audit/finance
  • Several years of professional experience in finance, preferably public accounting, internal audit or business process management
  • Experience in automotive sector is a plus
  • Good international accounting knowledge (IFRS)
  • Good accounting processes knowledge
  • Capability to quickly understand business processes from a controls perspective
  • High level of MS Office knowledge, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP R/3)
  • Thorough, diligent and detail-oriented documentation skills
  • Project coordination and management capabilities
  • Business fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • High customer and stakeholder orientation
  • Problem solving ability, quality focus and initiative
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as strong communication skills
  • Reliable person, in particular: dynamic and positive, open-minded, self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Willingness to travel up to 20 %
