The Director, Talent Management (TM) is responsible for the strategic development and continuous evolution of the global policy frameworks for Talent, Career & Performance Management, ensuring that all activities are measured and reviewed against the Key Performance Indicators in the Global Talent Management & Culture Center of Expertise.
The Director, TM works directly with internal executive and board level leaders to ensure approval and relevant business link between Talent Management strategies and company objectives. This role scope covers multiple functional areas, leads and is responsible for the development of 4 Sr Experts and Experts. This role is also responsible to identify, choose and manage external vendors and is responsible the Talent Management team budget.
Main topics for the next years include:
  • Through his/her team ensure the analysis of existing global processes, tools and evaluate internal and external trends and best practices.
  • Identify, chose, and manage external vendors with regards to global contracts and related global budget to drive consistencies and efficiencies across the organization.
  • Partner directly with business leaders to design talent solutions that add value to their functions and business units. Drives continuous improvement of TM activities.
  • Works with the DB liaison to ensure that synergies are identified and maximized.
  • Leads the Design, creation and communication toolkits for rollouts and program adoptions, etc.
  • Ensures the creation of training materials for the different stakeholders to provide clarity in roles & responsibilities and efficiency of the process or product.
  • Works directly with the global and regional HRBPs to ensure that the implementation plan works across all regions and takes into consideration the local needs/context.
  • Leads and manages a team of 2 Sr Experts (10 yrs exp) and 2 Experts (5 yrs exp.)
Your profile:
  • Several years job experience in the areas of performance management, succession planning, talent development and career development
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Role-model of leadership aligned with the company values
  • Superior ability to distill complex concepts and issues into simple, effective, and persuasive solutions and messages
  • Capability to lead and guide a global/virtual/hybrid team
  • Expertise in steering international projects and pool of external providers
  • Consulting and advising skills in an international working environment
  • Strong service and customer orientation
  • Expertise in KPI development, tracking and reporting
  • Pragmatic and independent working style and problem-solving skills
  • Decision-making competency and high competency to manage complexity/ambiguity
  • Can-do attitude, interpersonal skill, intercultural sensitivity and high level of engagement
  • Experience with large corporations and matrix organizations
  • Business English (B2) and availability for international travels
